The company is launching a new line of professional cameras for filmmakers. The newly introduced DJI camera known as Ronin 4D is able to record video in 6K and 8K full frame sensors.
According to the company, the newly introduced camera has features such as built-in four-axis gimbal stabilization, image output to external monitors up to 6 kilometers away, Apple ProRes and more. The newly launched DJI Ronin 4D was launched with an initial price of EUR 5,999 (estimated at $ 8,260, AU 11,040, Rs 6,168,061) for the 6K variant.

The DJI Ronin 4D is equipped with the Zenmuse X9 and also comes with the company’s latest image processing system, CineCore 3.0. According to DJI, the full frame camera is powered by a proprietary DJI chip, which provides an advanced processor architecture that reportedly offers even higher computing power.
“CineCore 3.0 enables Ronina 4D to support internal Apple ProRes RAW, ProRes 422 HQ and H.264 video recording, which is the official forum.
DJI Ronin4D 2022 has a 35mm full frame CMOS image sensor that is capable of recording videos with 6K and 8K resolutions. The professional camera has a built-in ND filter and you can record recordings on the internal SSD, external SSD via USB-C port. You can also use CFExpress cards to record videos.
“The standard DL bayonet on the X9 supports three compact full-frame lenses. The housings are made of lightweight monocoque carbon fiber, so each lens weighs only 180 g. Many DJI lenses will be available in the future,” said the official website.
